2. Dana Plato
Dana Plato was quite famous for playing the role of Kimberly Drummond in an American sitcom Different Strokes in the early 80s.After the show ended, Dana didn't get much work as she expected. Desperate times called for desperate measure, and she chose to enter the porn industry to pay off her financial debts.But things didn't go as planned. In the year 1999, Dana committed suicide by overdosing herself with a painkiller called Lortab.
3. Karen Lancaume
Karen was a French Porno film actress who was quite famous for her erotic roles. She also appeared in a mainstream film called Baise-Moi in the year 2000 which was quite a controversial one.She abandoned her adult film career in the year 2002 to pursue a career in mainstream films.But in the year 2005, Karen committed suicide by taking an overdose of temazepam and alcohol in her ex-boyfriend's apartment in Paris. She was 32 when she died.
4. Savannah
She was one of the top adult film actresses of her time. In the year 1994, when she was only 23, Savannah met with an accident and broke her nose. Upset over the accident, she shot herself in the head. One of her ex-boyfriends said she desperately wanted to get out of the porn business.It was after her death when Bill Margold founded Protecting Adult Welfare that provides counseling for adult performers till date.
5. Pauline Chan
She was a Chinese Hong-Kong actress who created quite some controversies in the Greater China Area during the time she was ruling the porn industry in the 1990s.She later got involved in an affair with Huang Jen-Chung who was a Taiwanese Investment Tycoon and celebrity. He was 33 years older than Pauline. Right after the duo broke up, Pauline tried her best to win Huang's heart back. But she never could. She was a part of a lot of negative news between 1998 and 2001.In 2002 she jumped off from the 24th-floor apartment and killed herself after battling from major depression. She was only 29 when she died.
6. Shauna Grant
Shauna Grant was an American nude model and a porn star who earned up to $100,000 in her two-year career. She was a drug addict and she shot herself with a rifle after her partner was arrested in the year 1984.
7. Alicia Tyler
Right when she was midst giving her career a fresh start after giving birth to her daughter, Alicia was found dead at her mother's place supposedly because of a drug over dose in the year 2013.
8. Saya Misaki
Saya was a Japanese adult film actress who began her career when she was 19.She was 21 when she hung herself at her home in the year 2007.In her last blog entry, she talked about her depression and ended it saying "Thank you, everyone. Thank you, God. Tomorrow I'll be better."
9. Anastasia Blue
28 year old, Anastasia ended her life after she overdosed on Tylenol in the year 2008.May their souls rest in peace.
